Iran’s daily COVID-19 infections at 2,886
Iran registered 2,886 coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours to raise the country’s total to 167,156, spokesman for Iranian Health Ministry Kianoush Jahanpour unveiled on Friday. The daily increase in COVID-19 infections was at its lowest since May 31.
The death toll from the infection stood at 8,134 nationwide, marking a growth of 63 fatalities compared to the day prior.
A total of 129,741 people in Iran successfully recovered after contracting COVID-19, while 2,573 patients were in critical condition, Jahanpour said.
