Italy COVID: 17,533 new cases, deaths jump by 620
Italian health authorities announced on Friday that 17,533 have tested positive for the coronavirus in the past 24 hours nationwide, pushing the country’s COVID-19 cases tally up to 2,237,890.
The pandemic took 77,911 lives in Italy since the outbreak started, marking an increase of 620 since yesterday’s update.
According to the data, a total of 1,589,590 Italian residents have successfully recovered from the coronavirus so far, up by 17,575 from the previous day.
