Kuleba asks US to boost Kiev’s defense capabilities
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba reiterated on Friday his request to the United States to enhance the country’s defense assets.
“Spoke with [US Secretary of State Antony Blinken] … on efforts to bring an end to Russia’s brutal war of aggression against Ukraine and multiple war crimes. To this end, it is crucial to further strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities, apply more pressure on Russia, and use all available diplomatic tools,” he tweeted.
Earlier today, European Council President Charles Michel discussed with Ukraine’s head of state, Volodymyr Zelensky, the creation of a European Union fund that would finance Ukraine’s army.
