Kurz: Talks on EU relief fund moving, but slowly
The European Union countries still haven’t reached an agreement on the coronavirus recovery fund, but progress has been made, Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said on Saturday.
Talking to the reporters in Brussels, Kurz stated that the negotiations are “going well” in general, but they were at the same time “difficult, as could have been expected.”
Austria had previously rejected the initial deal put forward by the European Council President Charles Michel.
