Macau tests entire population, finds no infections
China’s Special Administrative Region of Macau has tested the entire population for coronavirus and found no infections, the region’s health authorities confirmed.
The number of those tested for the virus amounted to 716,000, the statement read.
Macau has previously temporarily shut down all hospitality venues in order to prevent the spread of the virus, except for casinos, due to the region’s heavy reliance on the gambling industry.
