Macron says UK-EU deal can’t be renegotiated
French President Emmanuel Macron stated on Thursday the Brexit agreement between the European Union and the United Kingdom cannot be renegotiated.
“Nothing is renegotiable, everything must be applied,” the leader said, asserting that it is “not serious” to revisit something that was agreed on in December in June.
His comments come amid a spat between London and Brussels over the implementation of the Northern Ireland protocol.
