Massive testing will help France curb spread of COVID – health min.
The upscale of the COVID-19 testing process in France will help the country get the virus spread under control, French Health Minister Olivier Veran said on Friday.
During an interview with BFM TV, Veran restated that the pandemic situation in the European country is likely to improve in the next four to six weeks, due to both the number of tests conducted and the vaccines administered.
French President Emmanuel Macron noted earlier this week that the lockdown has to remain in place for an additional four to six weeks, as the spread of the new COVID variants poses too big of a risk for public health.
