Microsoft tops Apple as most valuable public firm
Microsoft Corp. surpassed Apple Inc.’s market cap on Friday to become the most valuable public company in the world.
The news came in after Apple yesterday reported record $83.4 billion in fiscal fourth-quarter revenue, however failing to meet market estimates citing issues related to supply chains.
Apple’s stocks plunged 3.44% to $147.34 a share at 10:03 am ET.
