Mutual trust is prerequisite for good UK-China ties – Xi
Good relations between the United Kingdom and China cannot exist without “mutual trust,” Chinese President Xi Jinping (pictured) told British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Friday.
Beijing’s state media announced that the two leaders had a phone call during which Xi expressed hopes that London will, in the future, “respect facts and view” China’s progress “objectively.”
Xi previously decided not to attend in person the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) but will deliver a speech via a video link.
