No end of pandemic in sight for Moscow – official
Moscow Deputy Mayor Anastasia Rakova stressed the Russian capital had been fighting the COVID-19 pandemic for “nine months now” and that there was no end to it “in sight” yet.
Still, Rakova expressed her hopes Moscow would see the end of the pandemic in the forthcoming months once its citizens are vaccinated against the disease.
Earlier this month, the city’s authorities began with the mass vaccination against coronavirus with the Sputnik V, developed by the Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology.
