Norway to offer boosters to all adults from 2022
Norway Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store announced on Friday that the government will start offering COVID-19 booster doses to all adults from next year, expanding the eligibility that has for now been applied only to citizens older than 65.
Norway has to date vaccinated around 87% of adults and 70% of the total eligible population, mainly using vaccines developed by Pfizer and BioNTech as well as Moderna.
Commenting on the outlook, the prime minister asserted Norway wouldn’t be getting back into lockdown, which lasted for a year and a half through September.
