Not good idea for Trump to use hydroxychloroquine – Pelosi
United States House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (pictured) told CNN the US President Donald Trump’s use of hydroxychloroquine as a preventative treatment for the COVID-19 is “not a good idea.”
“He’s our president and I would rather he not be taking something that has not been approved by the scientists,” she noted, adding: “Especially in his age group and in his, shall we say, weight group, that is morbidly obese, so I think it’s not a good idea.”
Previously, Trump’s physician explained the decision was made after a White House staffer tested positive for the virus.
