Not having Brexit deal yet disgrace for UK govt – shadow minister
British Shadow Work and Pensions Secretary Jonathan Reynolds stated on Monday the fact the government had not yet secured a deal over Britain’s post-Brexit relationship with the European Union was “appalling” and a “disgrace.”
“This prime minister [Boris Johnson] has promised to ‘Get Brexit Done,’ he clearly should get Brexit done,” Reynolds told Sky News. “A deal should be in place, and we should be able to tell people what their jobs, what their businesses, what they will be preparing for come next year.”
Earlier in the day, it was reported Johnson was planning to walk away from the negotiations with Brussels “within hours” due to some last-minute demands the bloc had presented.
