NY prosecutors probing Trump’s properties – report
Prosecutors in New York are probing financial deals related to a number of properties of former United States President Donald Trump, the Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday.
The investigators are looking into loans the former president took before he entered politics, in particular those on the Trump Tower, 40 Wall Street as well as Trump International Hotel and Tower at Columbus Circle and the Trump Plaza.
Earlier, Trump called the probe in New York a “witch hunt” while Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. said he was looking into the Trump Organization’s alleged insurance and bank fraud.
