NYPD investigates suspicious object near UN HQ

New York Police Department was reported to be investigating a suspicious package found next to the Turk Evi (Turkish House) in New York City, near the United Nations Headquarters building.

The city’s bomb squad was also called to the scene. The area has been cleared within a two-block radius as police set up a cordon.
