Oil falls after Norwegian workers end strike
Crude futures slid over 1% on Friday after the Norwegian Oil and Gas Association (NOG) and the trade union Lederne reached an agreement to end the oil workers’ strike.
Multiple fields in the country were completely or partially shut earlier this week due to the strike, but are now set to reopen soon, ending a 10-day strike.
Brent for settlements in December fell 1.18% to sell for $42.83 per barrel at 2:01 pm ET and West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for November delivery dropped 1.34% to go for $40.64 per barrel at the same time.
