Passenger plane goes missing over Siberia – reports
An Antonov An-28 passenger aircraft disappeared from radars in the Tomsk region in Russia’s Siberian Federal District, multiple local news agencies reported on Friday.
According to the reports, at least 13 people were on board, including four children. Siberian Light Aviation, or SiLA, is the alleged owner of the plane. The search operation is underway as authorities suspect the aircraft made a hard landing.
Last week, a plane crash involving an Antonov An-26 left all 28 passengers dead.
