Pelosi gets COVID-19 vaccine – TeleTrader.com
United States House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi was vaccinated against COVID-19 on Friday on Capitol Hill.
The 80-year-old Pelosi was inoculated by Attending Physician Dr. Brian Monahan at the Physician’s Office of the US Congress. Earlier, the doctor informed all members of Congress that they can set a vaccination appointment with him.
Before the vaccination, Pelosi postponed her weekly press briefing which was initially scheduled for 11 am ET. She is expected to speak to the press later in the day. Earlier, US Vice President Mike Pence was vaccinated publicly.
