Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine may be ready by November – report
Pfizer Inc. could have a COVID-19 vaccine ready as soon as November if the trial process goes smoothly, company’s chief executive Albert Bourla was quoted as saying by the Times of Israel on Friday.
“If things go well, and the stars are aligned, we will have enough evidence of safety and efficacy so that we can… have a vaccine around the end of October,” the executive reportedly claimed.
Earlier this week, the pharmaceutical giant said its Andover facility was preparing to mass produce the vaccine, which is now in clinical trials.
