Prices of cryptocurrencies rise, Bitcoin up by 4%
The prices of cryptocurrencies registered significant rises on Thursday, with the cost of Bitcoin surpassing 4% and going back to over $43,000.
The increase comes after the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) refused investment firm SkyBridge Capital’s proposal to create a spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF). Earlier, the Bank of Russia advised against crypto-related transactions.
Bitcoin advanced by 4.02% to sell for $43,350.000 at 11:58 am ET. At the same time, Ethereum surged by 5.38% to go for $3,248.80.
