Psaki: Stimulus payments to arrive as soon as weekend
The first direct payments from the COVID-19 relief bill will arrive as soon as this weekend, Jen Psaki, White House press secretary, said on Thursday.
“People can expect to see direct deposits hit their bank accounts as early as this weekend,” the official said, noting the initial payments are “just the first wave.”
Psaki’s comments come following the signing of the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan by President Joe Biden.
