Psaki: WH maintains plans for COVID booster shots
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki (pictured) stated on Wednesday the Biden administration’s plan to start the COVID-19 booster shot program the week of September 20 remains unchanged as long as the shots get approved.
The United States Food and Drug Administration’s advisory panel on vaccines is set to hold a meeting on booster shots on September 17. Earlier today, FDA staff declined to take a stance on Pfizer Inc.’s coronavirus booster jabs due to a lack of data.
Commenting on potential vaccine mandates for domestic travel, Psaki said that a “range of options” is being discussed.
