Putin, Biden willing to talk global security – Kremlin
The Kremlin stated on Tuesday Russian President Vladimir Putin and his United States counterpart Joe Biden expressed “willingness” to continue their “dialogue on global security” during their phone call earlier in the day.
According to the Kremlin, Putin stressed to Biden Russia based its approach to the crisis in Ukraine on the Minsk Accords, the treaty created to halt the conflict between Moscow and Kiev. The president’s service added the call took place on Washington’s initiative.
Earlier in the day, Biden and Putin had a phone call during which they discussed a “number of regional and global issues,” including the Russo-Ukrainian War.
