Putin to meet United Russia list leaders on September 27
Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with the leaders of the list that represented his former party, United Russia, in the latest parliamentary elections, Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated on Thursday.
Prior to that encounter, Putin will meet with those that won the elections on a regional level. He will also have a session with the leaders of other parties that participated in the polling for the State Duma. Those two meetings will take place on September 25 and be attended by United Russia Chairman, former Russian President and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Peskov added.
United Russia won almost 50% of votes cast in the elections held between September 17 and 19, or 324 out of 450 seats to the State Duma.
