Report claims 20K died in EU after COVID vaccine
Nearly 20,600 people in the European Union have died since the start of the vaccination campaign through July after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine, while 1.96 million were injured, according to an unconfirmed report published by Health Impact News.
The reported data, allegedly collected by the EU’s system for managing and analyzing information on suspected adverse reactions to medicines known as EudraVigilance, included vaccines developed by Moderna, Pfizer and BioNTech, AstraZeneca as well as Johnson & Johnson as the ones who have caused injuries and fatal outcomes.
The report noted nearly half of the total recorded injuries, around 0.97 million, are being considered as “serious injuries,” meaning the vaccine has caused life-threatening danger, resulted in required hospitalization or caused persistent disability or incapacity.
However, the official data coming from the European Medicines Agency estimates the number of vaccine-related deaths at less than 30% of the figure mentioned in the article.
