Russia adds 1,175 COVID-19 cases, death toll up to 63
The number of Russian residents infected with coronavirus climbed by 1,175 on a daily basis to 8,672, the country’s health officials announced on Wednesday.
Russia registered five COVID-19 deaths over the past 24 hours, increasing the death toll from the infection to 63 nationwide.
Meanwhile, a total of 580 people have recovered from COVID-19 in Russia. Russian President Vladimir Putin asserted that Russia hasn’t faced a peak of the coronavirus pandemic yet.
