Russia reports increased activity by NATO over Black Sea
Russia’s Defense Ministry stated on Friday that there is increased aerial reconnaissance from North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) countries near the borders in the Black Sea.
The ministry noted that there were six instances of NATO scouting aircraft seen flying over the Black Sea. Furthermore, the ministry condemned what it saw as United States military aggression, saying that the country’s activity in the region “poses a threat to regional and strategic stability.”
Earlier, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that Russia will take measures to ensure the security of its borders if the aggressive actions continue.
