RWE’s revenue at €2.2B in first three quarters
RWE AG reported on Thursday its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) in the first three quarters of the year rose by 13% in comparison to the same period in 2019 to land at €2.2 billion. Meanwhile, its earnings before interest taxes (EBIT) stood at €1.1 billion, up by 29% year-on-year.
The company also reported its adjusted net income for the first three trimesters of 2020 came in at €762 million. Lastly, it confirmed it was “adhering to its planned dividend increase to €0.85 per share for the current fiscal year.”
“The strong operating result we achieved for the first three quarters shows that RWE has weathered the coronavirus crisis well. […] Our successful capital increase in summer will enable us to accelerate our mid to long-term growth in renewables,” RWE’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Markus Krebber commented.
