S. Korea’s COVID cases remain below 2,000 for over 2 weeks
Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) revealed that the number of newly confirmed COVID-19 cases in South Korea remained below 2,000 for fifteen consecutive days, as the nation’s vaccination rate nears its 70% target.
After the 1,508 cases registered on Saturday are included, the total number of people who tested positive for the virus in the country reached 350,476.
In the meantime, 20 new deaths were registered, bringing the country’s death toll to 2,745.
