S. Korea’s Dem candidate says Kospi could hit 5K-mark
Lee Jae-myung, the presidential candidate of South Korea’s ruling Democratic Party, on Saturday said that the country’s equities are undervalued and that the Korea Composite Stock Price Index (Kospi) can easily rise above the 5,000-point mark.
“Kospi reaching 5,000 points is not difficult,” Lee said on 3Pro TV, according to Yonhap.
The index closed at 3,012.43 on Friday, up by 0.48%.
