SCOTUS allows alleged Ghosn smugglers’ extradition
The United States Supreme Court ruled on Saturday that US citizens Michael and Peter Taylor should be extradited to Japan where the two are facing charges in relation to the escape of former Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn.
The father and son were arrested in May and the US State Department allowed their extradition in October.
Ghosn, who was on bail in Japan at the time of his escape, left the country in a box on a private jet and flew via Istanbul to Beirut where he remains to this day.
