Siemens EPS jump 35% to €2.20 in Q4
Siemens AG announced on Thursday that the company’s earnings per share in the fourth quarter were €2.20, a rise of 35% compared to the same period a year earlier. Net income was reported at €1.9 billion, up 28% from Q4 of 2019.
Meanwhile, orders came in at €15.6 billion, virtually unchanged year-on-year as the company’s revenue declined 6% on the year to €15.3 billion.
“The Siemens team delivered a strong finish to a remarkable year. While shaping the structure of the new Siemens, our industrial and earnings performance in the quarter was up year over year. After the Energy spin-off and the Flender disposal, Siemens is very well positioned to lead the industrial transformation going forward,” Siemens President and CEO Joe Kaeser said in a release.
