Sony’s Q3 sales surge 13% to $26.66 billion
Sony Group Corp. posted on Wednesday its financial results for the last three months of 2021, revealing revenue of ¥3.03 trillion (~$26.66 billion).
The Japanese tech company also saw the expansion of operating income of as much as 32% to ¥465.2 billion (~$4.09 billion), with net income rising 11% to ¥346.2 billion (~$3.04 billion) or ¥276.65 (~$2.43) diluted earnings per common share.
Sony’s leading segments when it comes to sales and operating income were Pictures, and Imaging & Sensing Solutions (I&SS).
