Tesla holds new Model S deliveries – report
Tesla has stopped new deliveries of its Model S, saying that buyers cannot get their cars as the orders have been put on “hold,” Electrek reported on Friday.
It is currently unknown what the reason for the hold is, although the report does seem to indicate that one of the reasons may be due to “new inspection standards.” However, it is unclear what these new standards are.
CEO Elon Musk has commented on a previous delay of the Model S deliveries, saying that the car manufacturer needed more time to make sure the new battery packs were safe.
