Tesla to make 5 electric trucks weekly in Nevada – report
Tesla Inc. intends to manufacture five electric trucks on a weekly basis at a new Semi production line the company will set up in the vicinity of its Gigafactory Nevada facilities, anonymous insiders with knowledge of the plans told Electrek on Tuesday.
Initially, the new production line will reportedly support low-volume manufacturing only but is expected to boost its output to five trucks per week once the line’s construction is finalized.
According to the media outlet, Tesla may end up producing approximately 60 Semi electric trucks in total by the end of the year if its plans suffer no setbacks.
