Thunder fall to Rockets in second game of playoffs
Houston Rockets took a 2-0 lead over their Eastern Conference rival beating Oklahoma City Thunder 111-98 in the second encounter of their best-of-seven series.
Despite Canadian point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scoring game-high 31 points for Oklahoma, it was the Southwest Division team’s well-balanced attack that decided Thursday’s match as seven Rockets hit double figures throughout the game. Missing 11 shots from the field, Houston star James Harden’s 5-of-16 shooting line didn’t stop the team from emerging victorious and landing halfway to going through to the second round of the 2020 NBA playoffs.
The two will have their third first-round encounter Sunday at the Orlando bubble without spectators due to the coronavirus pandemic.
