Trump: COVID-19 vaccine Christmas miracle
United States President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump hailed vaccines against COVID-19 as a “Christmas miracle” in their video message posted on Christmas Eve.
“We’re grateful for all the scientists, researchers, manufacturing workers, and service members, who have worked tirelessly to make this breakthrough possible,” the sitting president said.
Earlier in the day, President-elect Joe Biden advised the public to respect the restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic during Christmas celebrations.
