Trump: Moon is weak, I stopped N. Korea’s ‘aggression ‘
Former United States President Donald Trump called South Koran President Moon Jae-in “weak” and claimed it was his administration, rather than Seoul that stopped Pyongyang’s “aggression toward the South.”
Trump insisted it is unfortunate for Seoul that he didn’t get reelected and added that North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un, whom he got to like, “never respected” Moon. The former US president also accused the South Korean president of a “long-term military ripoff” of the US and asserted that the administration of his successor Joe Biden won’t “even ask for the additional billions South Korea agreed to pay” the US.
The comments come after Moon said in an interview with the New York Times that Trump “failed” in achieving the denuclearization of North Korea.
