Trump’s physician explains hydroxychloroquine usage
Sean Conley, physician to United States President Trump, released a statement explaining the decision to give the president hydroxychloroquine as a preventative treatment for the COVID-19.
“We concluded the potential benefit from treatment outweighed the relative risks,” Connelysaid. He noted the decision was made after a White House employee tested positive for the virus.
The drug, commonly used to treat malaria is rumored to be beneficial for patients suffering from the Novel Coronavirus, with the US president himself hailing the treatment.
