Twitter fires head of security
Twitter Inc. fired on Friday its head of security Peiter Zatko, as well as its Chief Information Security Officer Rinki Sethi, the company confirmed to the New York Times. Both held their respective positions since 2020.
Twitter’s CEO Parag Agrawal said in a memo that the decisions were made based on “an assessment of how the organization was being led and the impact on top priority work.” The social network’s head of Privacy Engineering Lea Kissner will take over Sethi’s role on an interim basis, employees told the Times.
