UAE FM: We want to work with US to ease regional tensions
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (pictured), United Arab Emirates’ foreign minister stated on Saturday that the country is willing to work with the new United States administration to reduce the tensions in the region.
In a phone call with the US special envoy for Iran Rob Malley, the minister underlined that the UAE is reading to “start a new dialogue” with Washington, the state news agency WAM reported.
US Department of Treasury imposed sanctions on Alpha Tech Trading FZE and Petroliance Trading FZE from Sharjah, UAE in December 2020, over their alleged ties with Iran.
