Ubisoft fires four execs due to harrassement allegations
French video game company Ubisoft Entertainment SA stated that its chief creative officer Serge Hascoet, global head of HR Cecile Cornet, and Yannis Mallat, managing director of Ubisoft’s Canadian studios were let go regarding the accusations of “misconduct and inappropriate behavior.”
Earlier this week, Ubisoft announced its vice president, Maxime Beland, was leaving the company regarding assault allegations as well.
The company said it has started “by launching investigations into the allegations with the support of specialized external consultants,” adding it was “also auditing our existing policies, processes, and systems to understand where these have broken down, and to ensure we can better prevent, detect, and punish inappropriate behavior.”
