UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov retires
President of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Dana White, announced on Friday that longest-reigning UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov (pictured) has officially decided to end his career.
“29-0 it is. He is officially retired. It was incredible to watch you work @TeamKhabib thank you for EVERYTHING and enjoy whatever is next my friend,” White said in a Twitter post.
Nurmagomedov held the title from April 2018 until now, and retired with an undefeated record of 29 wins and no losses.
