United Airlines to resume 25,000 flights in August
United Airlines announced on Wednesday it would resume 25,000 more of its domestic and international flights in August in addition to the ones already confirmed in July.
The Chicago-based company previously said it would allow full flight capacity and continue with its operations to China starting from this month.
United Airlines faced severe financial difficulties as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and was forced to close three of its international bases, lay off 13 top executives, and secure a loan worth $5 billion backed by its MileagePlus loyalty program to sustain its businesses.
