US consumer mood markedly improves in March
Consumer confidence in the United States drastically improved in March, according to a survey released by the Conference Board on Tuesday.
The headline index for consumer mood in the US this month was reported at 109.7 after hitting 90.4 in February’s survey.
Meanwhile, the Expectations index jumped from 90.8 to 109.6, while the Present situation index surged from 92 to 110.
