US daily virus cases up to 69,417, deaths rise by 701
The number of coronavirus infections in the United States increased by 69,417, growing at a faster pace compared to the previous day, the Johns Hopkins University’s tally showed on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the country’s death toll from the virus went up by 701 since yesterday’s update to reach a total of 550,036.
On Monday, US President Joe Biden claimed that 90% of the population across the nation will be able to get a vaccine against the virus “no later than April 19.”
