US extends gains premarket waiting for election results
Shares on major stock markets in the United States traded mixed in the premarket on Wednesday after both United States President Donald Trump and Democrat nominee Joe Biden insisted they will win the presidential elections.
The latest information showed that the federal state of Nevada will continue counting votes tomorrow, while the situation in the remaining five swing states remained tense.
The Dow Jones was up by 0.56% or 156 points at 7:40 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 soared 3.26% or 368 points. The S&P 500 went up by 1.46% at the same time. The euro gained 0.23% compared to the dollar to sell for 1.17292 at 7:45 am ET.
