US mixed premarket amid earnings
Shares in the United States traded mixed premarket on Tuesday after the latest round of earnings reports. Peloton dropped over 8% after it announced it will replace its CEO and let go around 2,800 employees, while Pfizer fell over 4% following a weaker-than-expected revenue for the fourth quarter and full-year 2021. Snap also dropped more than 4% after it announced it will offer $1.25 billion in senior notes due 2028 in a private placement.
The Dow Jones was up by 0.07% at 8:02 am ET. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq 100 fell by 0.28% at the same time, and the S&P 500 lost 0.14%.
The euro traded 0.23% lower against the dollar, going for 1.14116 at 8:03 am ET.
