US Navy ship taken offline over COVID outbreak
The deployment of United States Navy’s USS Milwaukee warship was delayed due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the Associated Press reported.
The littoral combat ship is going to remain stationed in port at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, where it was taken for a scheduled visit, the media outlet said.
The ship’s crew is reportedly fully immunized and those positive for the virus were placed in isolation.
