US oil inventories down by 1.645M barrels – report
Crude oil inventories in the United States declined by 1.645 million barrels in the week ending January 28, private data from the American Petroleum Institute (API) reportedly showed on Tuesday.
The stocks of distillates declined by 2.508 million barrels. On the other hand, the supply of gasoline increased by 5.816 million barrels.
West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for deliveries in March rose by 0.33% at 4:26 pm ET to sell for $88.43 per barrel. A minute later, Brent for inventories in April increased by 0.12% to go for $89.42 per barrel.
